My name is Captain Ed. I adopted this moniker around 3 – 4 years ago as a logical extension of my increasingly pelagic practice. Thus whole new potentials and exciting routes have been introduced to my work. I have steeped myself with maritime lore, language, novels, factual accounts of small boat adventures, poems, myths etc. and continue to do so. These pour into a self permeated myth or stratagem, with Captain Ed at the head or bow of the proverbial ship, spouting stories of real and imagined sea exploits: most recently in a four part performance called the Rotating Feather Man – replete with musical accompaniment and taking place in four different locations
